I like the way the ground feels beneath my feet, when I walk barefoot outside, I know I am not supposed to but I like the way it feels underneath my feet.
They tell me to be afraid of splinters and germs, to wear socks and shoes every time im not inside my house
However I secretly love walking around barefoot, feeling the curves the imperfections of the earth
Something our ancestors did, when did we become so afraid of nature, to be honest we were probably more together when we were a part of it
When we lay down on the grass, run between the flowers, drink from the rivers, didn’t where sunscreen to protect us from 20minutes under the sun
Happier we probably were, when we didn’t know about Gucci and we could wear a used rag and have dirt on our face and we would still feel good.
The stars was our late night pass time and sun rise was our alarms.
Must’ve been nice the simple life.
