Secrets of the Notes

It’s crazy the amount of conversations that will never happen I write down In my notes. Books that will never be read, thoughts that will never be spoken, stories that will never be told.

I probably already created a million universes by now, broke up with you a million times, married you five seconds later, became a world famous author had three kids and a dog. Yet none will ever know

All hypothetical situations that never came into fruition hanging out at the palm of my hand… Only the virtual pages of my notes has experienced them yet will never tell a single soul…

How much I thought created, loved, laughed, lived inside my head day after day year after year never having the courage to bring it to reality. The secrets in my notes. How badly I wanted… everything and more.

The One

It was a beautiful story

It started like this

We ran away from a night club

Climbed a rooftop

On my way down he stole a kiss

We moved very quickly

Too good to go slowly

There wasn’t a moment

We dared to miss

Within a few days he called me his

Unfortunately within that time

I got sick

However he was addicted to me

So he met my parents

Gave me a sense of safety

It’s a short story

So it ended like this

I woke up one day, while he was asleep

Whispered “ ___ I love you”

His eyes opened up slowly

The next day

I get a message

It said “I can’t do this…”

“It’s too much for me”

So the end, then my eyes started to bleed

Page 2: Arabella

Rewind, before it got to this point….

There was love, happiness and sun. Arabella and Thomas we’re a match made in heaven.

So perfectly did their hands intertwine, even the haters couldn’t deny their magic.

But Arabella was a “whore”…

Or so the story goes amongst the commoners.

Thomas well, Thomas was a noble man from a foreign land… with a pure heart and a naive mind.

When he heard the rumors , even though unable to stay away from the sun kissed

raven hair beauty. He could not shake the cruel words of the others.

His heart didn’t believe it and loved her regardless. But his mind often wondered whenever she wasn’t around.

“Arabella a whore…”

Page 1: The Dagger

She was sitting in her black lace underwear staring into his honey brown eyes, he was the whole world to her, her first taste of love.

The way he looked at her, is that if she were to disappear so would his world, instantly.

Although he swears his love to her, every night he lies with another. He knows it’s wrong but he doesn’t stop, he feels she’s too perfect for him, he’s not worthy. Yet he can’t let go of her completely she’s the sun, and the only light left for him.

She is still looking at him, she knows what he does, his eyes never lied to her not then not now.

So from under the pillow she pulls out a knife.

“Kill me already” She gives the knife to him.

“Living like this… i’m already dead.”

Epilogue: Another Universe

Part I

The Epilogue

She was quietly sitting admiring the sunset from her castle, suddenly she heard footsteps approaching from behind with the sound of leaves being crushed.

She glanced to her side, and at that moment the figure finally took a seat next to her. It was someone she knew but hardly recognized, it was her lover’s ghost.

After a few minutes of admiring him she turned her attention back to the sunset.

“Beautiful, isn’t it?” he said.

“Yeah,” she replied in a soft voice.

There they sat in silence until the sun finally set and it was night time.

It was a comfortable silence however; since their souls intertwined, there was always a mutual understanding between them. Some call this understanding “love.”

“Could we ever be together? After the mess we made of everything–of ourselves, can we ever go back to those few moments of pure bliss?” he said.

“No silly, it’s too late for that…” she replied, in a solemn tone.

After a short pause she went on.

“We finally found peace in the distance; my heart could not survive another war with you. But we don’t need to be together, our love is already eternal so we are always together, even when we are apart.”

“I suppose you’re right,” he said as he glanced up at the moon.

“I’m always right,” she quipped with a laugh.

“Wish I saw that sooner,” he said,

“Me too,” She replied,

Then she glanced up at the moon and smiled.

“Maybe we’re together in another universe. In fact, I’m certain of it, and knowing we’re together somewhere in existence is good enough for me,” she said cheerfully.

There was silence.

She looked over awaiting a reply, but just as quickly as he had come, he disappeared.

“Another universe,” she said again, this time sad.

“Another universe.”
